Are there replacements available for ArtCam 2011?
Any info would be great. ArtCAM Pro 2009 and ArtCAM Pro 2011 are both Delcam products.
Autodesk acquired Delcam on 6th February 2014, and Delcam was absorbed into Autodesk on 1st August 2016. The Autodesk ArtCAM 2017 product range was released in August 2016. ArtCAM Pro is not part of the Autodesk ArtCAM 2017 product range, and has been discontinued.
You might find in the Autodesk Knowledge Network article useful. You can compare the different products in the Autodesk ArtCAM 2017 product range.
Autodesk ArtCAM Premium 2017 includes the same functionality familiar to users of ArtCAM Pro, and this is available to buy from on a monthly or annual subscription basis. Your question regarding your dongle has already been answered in part: dillon.moulder wrote: For legacy ArtCAM customers with maintenance, it is my understanding that:. a broken or faulty dongle must be returned by trackable mail in order for a new replacement dongle to be issued; and.
where a dongle has been stolen, and the customer can provide documentary evidence of the theft in the form of an official crime report or insurance claim, a new replacement dongle will be issued. Neither of these situations incur an administration fee, and a stockpile of dongles has been retained for such situations in future. Unfortunately, I cannot specify how long it would take for the replacement dongle to be issued, as the merits of each case would need to be considered carefully and I do not know what shipping methods are utilized. Since you aren't using ArtCAM Pro 2015 R2, I do not expect that you have a Delcam maintenance agreement or Autodesk maintenance plan.
The importance of insurance was referenced in the Addendum of Delcam's. Do you or your company have an insurance plan that covers you for the loss of your USB security-protection dongle? If you do not, I recommend that you find an insurance provider that will cover the loss of your USB security-protection dongle so that you would be in a financial position to purchase a new ArtCAM software license from Autodesk.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask. Otherwise, please be so kind as to accept my response as a solution. Thanks in advance for your time and cooperation. Kind regards.

I have insurance to cover such things but that said, even if I had to buy a new one it's nice to know I wouldn't be left high and dry and could still use my current version.
I'm going to take a closer look at 2017, I might even go that route soon. Thanks again for getting back to me. Please note that the provision for a replacement dongle is available to customers with an Autodesk maintenance plan.
The Autodesk ArtCAM 2017 product range does not utilize a USB security-protection dongle, and you are not able to purchase a new license for any legacy Delcam ArtCAM software. The option to purchase a stand-alone perpetual license for Autodesk ArtCAM Premium with a maintenance plan is limited, as documented. It is not possible to purchase a stand-alone perpetual license for Autodesk ArtCAM Standard; the product is sold on a monthly or annual subscription basis only.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask. Thanks in advance for your time and cooperation. Kind regards. Hi, Gary.B wrote: That doc you linked for the perpetual license is a little confusing. It only list PowerMill, PowerShape, Feature Cam and Power Inspect for perpetual licensing thru to Jan 31st. However in the 'what products are you most interested in' drop down box it includes Artcam Standard and Premium You stated AC Premium for perpetual but not AC Standard reading that doc, I take it AC is not included Would you verify please I had no input regarding the content on, so I cannot explain as to why Autodesk ArtCAM Standard and Autodesk ArtCAM Premium are included in the drop-down list, but have been omitted from the main page listing the other ex-Delcam products. It has never been possible to buy a perpetual license for Autodesk ArtCAM Standard, although Delcam customers with a license for ArtCAM Insignia 2015 R2 and an active maintenance agreement on 1st August 2016 were provided with one.
To my knowledge, perpetual licenses for Autodesk ArtCAM Premium are still available to buy from an Autodesk sales representative for a limited period of time; I'm not aware of a specific deadline date. Customers with a perpetual license for Autodesk ArtCAM Premium will need to renew their Autodesk maintenance plan in order to continue using Autodesk ArtCAM software on that basis in the future. Otherwise, they would need to purchase a monthly or annual subscription. I'm sorry that I cannot be of greater assistance on this occasion, but this is something best answered by an Autodesk sales representative. I recommend that you use the form or the contact number to ask questions regarding this matter. Thanks in advance for your time and cooperation. Kind regards.

Please confirm. If by ' templates' you're referring to ArtCAM Model files (.art), then you'll need to purchase a monthly or annual subsription to Autodesk ArtCAM Standard in order to open them; there is a on the price of a 1-year subscription until 31st July 2017. These files will also need to be batch converted in ArtCAM 2015 R2 order to make them compatible with Autodesk ArtCAM Standard 2017.
