Snes 1 chip serial. North American 1CHIP consoles are found in consoles with serial numbers that start with 'UN3'. Not every 'UN3' is a 1CHIP, but every 1CHIP I've seen (that wasn't moved in a case swap) has a serial number such as 'UN321907569'. It's possible serial numbers starting with 'UN31' were the first to include the 1CHIP, but. 1CHIP: I'd like to compare some of the worst '2-chip' consoles to the best '1CHIP', a modded SNES Mini. It's an easy comparison, as all the 2-chip. I've seen two 1CHIP-01 consoles that were close in serial number (meaning probably from the same run of production) that outputted slightly different quality video. Nintendo stopped incrementing the revision numbers after they eliminated the separate APU module. The 1-chip may well have minor differences from the 2-chip, but I do not know for certain if that is the case. What I do know is that the Super Famicom Jr / SNES Mini is listed as 2/1/3, but is honestly more of a clone system.
Ricoman: I can't find the options to switch to English, where did you see it? When you start WinOnCD a launcher will be opened. Select one of the project types (it doesn't matter which, just hit an icon in the circle) and WinOnCD should start up. Now look for 'Optionen' (which means options) on the top (see the attached picture) and click it. Highlight 'Einstellungen' (which means properties) on the drop-down menu and click on it. A new window will now be opened. Search again for 'Einstellungen' (top right of the new window) and click on that sheet.

You will find a drop-down menu for 'Sprache' (which means language(! )). Click on the small arrow and select 'English' as your preferred language. Click on 'OK' twice and shut down WinOnCD. Next, hit 'Nein' (which means no) as you don't want to save any changes you have made to the template. Restart WinOnCD and now the program should start in english.
